Adult Welfare Specialist

We are recruiting for an Adult Welfare Specialist to work within our Community See Solve & Active Recovery Team in Hull, UK. The role involves working full-time and offers a salary up to £38,296 per annum.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring the welfare and safety of vulnerable adults, families, and carers, upholding safeguarding personal principles.
- Conducting assessments, determining eligibility, and assessing risk to plan effective care and support.
- Critically evaluating practice and challenging colleagues, agencies, and vulnerable individuals.
- Participating in team meetings, practice forums, and other relevant discussions to ensure focused social work.
- Making professional decisions on complex cases with colleagues.
- Supporting practice development groups and providing information and professional opinions as required.
Essential requirements include a Social Work Qualification or equivalent, and registration with the relevant health professional council or governing body.
