Job Title: Resort Service Operative/Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resort Service Operative/Engineer to join our team at Golden Sands Holiday Park. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring the efficient repair and maintenance of amusement machines on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain amusement equipment and coin changers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and investigate technical updates as required.
  • Repair parts and equipment in the workshop area.
  • Ensure the security of company assets, including cash, service keys, and machines.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment in the workshop and public areas where machines are situated.
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal operation.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner, meeting company and customer targets.
  • Perform Portable Appliance Tests and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits as scheduled.
  • Control and replace spares issued to you in accordance with company procedures.
  • Install, change, and remove machines as required.
  • Attend regular debrief meetings with field management to discuss performance and address any issues.
  • Participate in training sessions as requested.
  • Maintain regular contact with Remote Services and operate equipment as required.
  • Complete administration documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Person Specification:

  • Carry out technical changes resulting from policy updates.
  • Provide service and maintenance on a seven-day basis, working on rotas to suit business and customer needs.
  • Provide additional cover on service rota as required, including covering absent staff.
  • Attend service calls at sites in other sectors when required.
  • Promote a good relationship with customers and maintain a correct company image at all times.
  • Ensure all company assets are safeguarded in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with Electrical regulations and complete documentation as required.
  • Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Policy.
  • Adhere to company rules, policies, procedures, and notices at all times.
  • Undertake any other duties within your competence as requested by management.
