Morson Talent is looking for a skilled CNC machinist (milling & turning) to fill this exciting opportunity in Plymouth.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming and operating CNC multi-axis turning centres, with expertise in one or more of the following CNC controls: Siemens and/or Mazak.

Responsibilities:
  • Work to fine tolerances (imperial & metric measurements) and utilize suitable measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers)
  • Interpret engineering drawings and possess experience working within an engineering environment
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health & Safety and sound working practices
  • Show adaptability to diverse work schedules and exhibit a forward-thinking commercial approach
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and provide evidence of such
Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • NVQ Level 2 applicants with relevant industry experience may also be considered
Working Hours:
  • Standard full-time hours: 35 hours per week
  • Adaptable working schedule with enhanced pay for shift working (18% uplift on hourly rate)
Compensation Package:
  • Estimated annual salary: £38,100
