Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Precision Metrology Technician to join our team in Newton Abbot. As a Precision Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing precision measurements and inspections on a variety of components and assemblies. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing measurement procedures, collaborating with engineers to ensure that our products meet customer requirements, and contributing to mechanical design activities.

About the Role:
This is a temporary to permanent contract with a salary of £30,000 per annum. The working hours are Monday to Friday - 39 hours. We offer a range of benefits including Healthshield, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Employee Assistance Line, and Medicash.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision measurements and inspections on a variety of components and assemblies.
  • Develop and implement measurement procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure that our products meet customer requirements.
  • Contribute to mechanical design activities.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision metrology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should also have experience with precision measurements and measurement procedures.
