This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time payroll administrator to join a reputable chartered accountancy practice in Kingston. The firm is a multi-partner organization that serves a large number of clients locally and across the country. As a payroll administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of payroll work, processing payrolls in accordance with the weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll cut-off schedule, and completing and signing off payroll checklists. You will also be responsible for processing HMRC tax code amendments prior to payroll processing, dealing with queries from HMRC, processing and uploading pension submissions, and managing a portfolio of payrolls, including liaising with clients and handling their queries. To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience in a UK-based accountancy practice or payroll bureau and be willing to commute to central Kingston. Key skills required include great communication and time management skills, a hardworking attitude, self-driven and organized, highly motivated, and strong attention to detail. This role offers part-time hours and a competitive local salary. If you are a technically proficient payroll administrator with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll, ideally with accountancy practice experience or payroll bureau experience, we encourage you to apply.
