Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at MLK Education Search. As a key member of our specialist ASD school, you will be working across the school and alongside a multi-professional therapy team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your practice while gaining knowledge of other disciplines, integrating your work with other professionals and maximising the impact of your own work.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with EHCPs for specialist language or communication needs and will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.

This is an exciting and varied role with potential for future career and professional development, including access to funding for therapeutic studies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs for specialist language or communication needs
  • Working across the school and alongside a multi-professional therapy team
  • Developing practice while gaining knowledge of other disciplines
  • Accessing funding for therapeutic studies and continued development

The successful candidate will be a creative and diligent individual who can engage and build rapport with children with Autism quickly. They will also be able to reflect carefully on the support they give others, considering how this can be most effective for learners with SEND.

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be part of a large and caring school and therapeutic team that is committed to providing high-quality education and care to students with specialist needs. We offer a comprehensive induction programme and opportunities for professional development.
