Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products, in compliance with UK Standard DCB0129. This will involve systematic review of functional design, hazard assessments, and documentation of a 'Safety Case'.
The ideal candidate will have previous clinical experience and expertise in clinical risk assessment, as well as familiarity with the NHS environment and regulations. Experience in maternity or radiology is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform systematic review of functional design to identify potential sources of harm.
- Conduct hazard assessments as per Magentus Clinical Safety Management process.
- Document a 'Safety Case' to demonstrate compliance with DCB0129.
- Maintain Magentus Hazard Registers for all products.
- Perform clinical risk assessment of clinical incidents raised via the Customer service desk.
- Review and improve Magentus Clinical Safety Management Process.
