Join Our Team and Make a Difference

Sue Ryder is a leading charity retailer with over 400 shops across the UK. We are seeking volunteers to join our team and help us provide expert medical, practical, bereavement, and emotional support to those in need.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with our team to meet donors, receive donations, and sign them up for Gift Aid
  • Help sort, label, and price stock, ensuring our shop remains well-stocked and appealing to customers
  • Greet and assist customers, providing an exceptional shopping experience
  • Serve customers on the till, with training provided to ensure you feel confident and capable
  • Maintain shop displays and re-stock shelves, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers
  • Perform light cleaning and tidying duties, keeping our shop clean and tidy
  • PAT test electrical items (optional), ensuring our customers' safety
  • Upcycle donated items (optional), giving new life to old treasures
  • Assist with social media and photography (optional), helping us promote our work and reach new audiences
