CV-Library is currently seeking a skilled Agricultural Engineer/Mechanic to join our team based in the Mid Devon area.


The salary for this position is estimated at £35,325 per annum, reflecting the competitive hourly rate of £67.05 p/h (reviewed after probation), combined with the cost of living in the region and industry standards.


About the Role:


This exciting opportunity requires an experienced individual with strong mechanical and hydraulic skills to work within our depot and out in the field. The ideal candidate will have a background in agriculture, plant machinery, HGV or similar industries, as well as electrical, hydraulic and mechanical fitting knowledge.


Main Responsibilities:

  1. Fault finding and repair of mechanical and hydraulic issues in agricultural machinery and equipment.
  2. Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, and inspection.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, work performed, and parts used.


Requirements:

  • Candidates should be formally qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in vehicle repair & maintenance, or possess relevant experience in a related field.
  • A solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
