We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to join our prestigious client in Central Wokingham. This AML Compliance Specialist role offers a unique opportunity for a highly organised individual to assist management and staff in ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with government and SRA regulations at all times, investigating any irregularities.
  • Monitor compliance, ensuring the company adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Identify potential risks, highlighting activities or practices that may violate regulations and SRA standards.
  • Analyse risks, ensuring all employees understand regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine risk assessments to understand compliance risk, scope, and significance.

Requirements:

  • Regulatory knowledge, with a good understanding of laws and regulations applicable to the company.
  • Data analysis skills, with the ability to research and interpret data.
  • Good computer skills, with knowledge of Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate regulations and laws to all employees.
  • Problem-solving skills, identifying risks of non-compliance and ensuring they are mitigated and eliminated.
