About the Role
Oaklands College is seeking a highly skilled Security & Services Manager to oversee the strategic and operational management of all physical and infrastructure security across our campuses. This role involves managing the security team, control room, access control systems, ID badges, and vehicle parking to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the security team and control room to ensure effective security operations.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to maintain compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Provide expert advice on security best practices, risk management, and emergency response planning.
- Foster a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in a relevant subject such as Security and Risk Management.
- Significant experience in a senior security management role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and emergency response planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
