About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic single-form entry school in Liverpool City Centre.

As an English Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners' literacy development, inspiring lessons, and fostering a love for reading and writing in young minds.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support young learners' literacy development through inspiring lessons and activities
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff to tailor lessons to meet individual needs
  3. Foster a love for reading and writing in young minds through creative and imaginative approaches
  4. Build strong relationships with children and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  1. A genuine love for the English language and literature
  2. Relevant qualifications or experience in education (desirable)
  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues
  4. A creative and resourceful approach to teaching and learning
  5. Enthusiasm for fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
