Adult Social Care Specialist

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Specialist to join their team on a 3-month locum opportunity.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide social care services, lead community mental health nurses, and conduct Care Act Assessments.
- Provide high-quality social care services, ensuring excellence across the department.
- Contribute to change management, implementing continuous improvement strategies aligned with Key Performance Indicators.
- Support community mental health nurses, taking the lead on patient care and promoting best practices.
- Lead and support health colleagues on S.117 needs and reviews, arranging funded care for individuals.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services, with expertise in mental health and the Care Act.
- Understanding of financial implications of commissioned care packages.
- Ability to make informed decisions, mitigating potential risks.
- A valid driving license and car, or alternative arrangements to meet mobility requirements.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
