About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Payables Supervisor in ensuring timely supplier payments for Southway Housing Trust and its subsidiaries. This includes logging and processing invoices and credit notes, matching invoices to purchase orders, supporting the preparation of weekly BACS payments, preparing cash book journals, reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger monthly, and closing down the Accounts Payables ledger at month end.

In addition, the role involves assisting the Financial Services Team Leader in maintaining accurate Accounts Receivables ledgers, performing credit checks, posting journal entries, reconciling receivables accounts, following up unidentified cash receipts, and reconciling receivables transactions on the bank statement daily.
