Cygnet Nursery Overview
Cygnet Nursery is an Ofsted registered day nursery providing high-quality childcare for children up to five years old in a safe and stimulating environment.
Located off Langford Lane, Kidlington, near Oxford Airport and The Spires Business Park, the nursery boasts extensive indoor and outdoor play areas and four separate rooms catering for different age groups in two buildings on one large site.
Your Role as a Childcare Specialist
- You will work closely with our experienced team to provide a caring and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
- Assist key workers in settling, caring, and supporting children's development through observations, planning, and writing learning journeys.
- Prepare snacks, assist at meal times, and contribute to creating a nurturing atmosphere.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Level 2 Early Years Childcare Qualification or equivalent experience in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
- Hold GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent functional skills.
- Obtain a clear DBS check prior to commencement.

Working Hours and Salary
Cygnet Nursery operates between 07:30-18:00 Monday-Friday, with working hours ranging from 40 hours per week. Your salary will be around £17,000-£20,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
