Academic Support Lead

The Learning Lead (Cognition and Learning) is a critical role in supporting the academic success of our students.
The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and experience in developing and implementing effective learning strategies to support students with literacy and numeracy difficulties.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38.5 hours per week during term-time plus one week of professional development time.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement intervention programmes to support students with Cognition and Learning difficulties
- Design and deliver targeted lessons to improve literacy and numeracy skills
- Provide additional support to students who require it
- Monitor student progress and report back to the SENCO and other relevant staff members
The salary for this role is £27,711-£30,060 per annum, with a pro-rata amount of £22,247-£24,551 including an allowance for holiday pay.
In addition to the salary, the successful candidate will also receive a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, free on-site car parking, and a generous pension as part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
