Supportive Companion Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant in Northwold, providing support with daily activities.
As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with hair washing and drying, general housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and escorting to appointments. You will also have the opportunity to foster an environment that promotes independence.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving license and have experience working with individuals with multiple sclerosis and other medical conditions. They will also require patience, calming, and reassuring qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Prepare meals and manage kitchen tasks
- Escort to appointments and provide transportation
Requirements:
- A valid driving license is essential
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial
Salary and Benefits:
The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour, with a 12-hour workweek. The annual holiday entitlement is equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks. Free Care Skills training is also provided to employees.
