About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Porter to join our team. As a House Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all guest rooms and public areas.

  • Consistently achieve the required standards of cleanliness, presentation, and care in all guest rooms and public areas
  • Develop a positive relationship with all guests, colleagues, and visitors
  • Ensure the correct level of security for all guest belongings is achieved
  • Ensure the guest rooms are stocked and maintained to the required standard
  • Ensure your uniform is kept clean, presentable, and in good condition
  • Report any maintenance and IT issues correctly
  • Count and distribute linen deliveries around the hotel
  • Reconcile general housekeeping supplies around the hotel
  • Act as a support structure for the housekeeping team, responding to the varying needs of the department
  • Work in line with the needs of the business

About you

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to detail, inclusive, and welcoming. You should be driven, taking pride and passion in your work, and able to adopt a positive attitude. Previous experience of working in a similarly physically demanding role is desirable, but not essential. You should be a strong team player and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
