Associate Haematology Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with haematological disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with haematological disorders.
- Provide expert nursing care and support to patients, including physical health monitoring, medication management, and education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with a specialization in Haematology.
- Post-qualification training in psychosocial interventions and experience working with patients with haematological disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel between sites and work flexible hours as required.
