Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with malignant haematological conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care and support to patients and their families, including holistic needs assessment and individualized care planning.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient pathways and nursing services.
  • Contribute to the development of the nursing service, including audit and research, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a specialist resource for patients and the clinical team, providing comprehensive advice, information, teaching, and training.
  • Update own clinical and specialist knowledge, and contribute to the development of the service locally and nationally.
