We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Strategy Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Funding team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing funding strategies to maximize shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze investment opportunities and optimize funding decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to maximize L&G's investment in LGC created assets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the L&G Group to design and implement new funding solutions.
- Partner with the LGC Finance team to capture and monitor management information to enable and monitor L&G balance sheet funding of LGC created assets.
- Develop and present governance papers and management updates to key stakeholders.
- Manage the performance of direct reports and ensure development needs are met.
- Qualified actuary or CFA/FRM or CFQ or Master's Degree in Science, Finance, Math, Economics or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to UK life insurance reporting metrics Solvency II, IFRS and Economic Capital is essential.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships with contacts in stakeholder and customer organizations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver results on time.
