Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team at Funding Circle. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement controls to manage operational risks.
- Provide risk advice and guidance to business stakeholders on risk management best practices.
- Develop and maintain risk reports and dashboards to provide visibility into operational risk exposures.
- Proven experience in operational risk management, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex risk issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of initiative and autonomy.
