Administrative Support Officer

The Fife Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated administrative support officer to provide comprehensive, confidential support within a secondary high school. This will involve utilizing Management Information Systems and other education-specific IT systems to ensure accurate data capture for the benefit of the school, corporate bodies, and government agencies.
This role requires effective collaboration with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for students and the school as a whole. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Admin Coordinator or Business Manager, providing administrative support to meet the needs of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the school community, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all tasks.
- Utilize Management Information Systems and other education-specific IT systems to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for students and the school as a whole.
Requirements:
- Educated to SCQF level 5 or equivalent, including National 5 or SVQ level 2 or Standard Grades at Credit level in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, promoting positive relationships and outcomes for all children and young people.
- Proven experience of working with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment, preferably within an educational setting.
Salary and Benefits: Estimated £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
