Administrative Role in Primary Education

Austin Fraser seeks an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist Administrator to support the school's mission by contributing to excellent teaching and learning outcomes. This pivotal role is responsible for managing effective communication across the school, maintaining attendance and dinner registers, and providing administrative support for extended school provisions.

  1. Ensure the smooth running of the school reception, handling telephone calls, messages, mail distribution, and visitor admissions in line with safeguarding practices.
  2. Maintain accurate attendance and dinner registers, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines.
  3. Provide administrative support for extended school provisions such as breakfast clubs and extracurricular activities.

An estimated salary for this role is £20 per hour, with 37.5 hours worked per week during term time only, Monday to Friday. The location is SE London.

About the Role:

This Receptionist Administrator will be responsible for coordinating logistics for school events and trips, including transport and room bookings, managing admissions processes, and ensuring smooth transitions for students joining or leaving the school.

  • The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge of management information systems (MIS), such as Scholarpack, and other office software.
  • Good communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
