Overview
A leading food manufacturing company, Gregory Walker Associates Ltd, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Specifications Technologist to join their dynamic team in Chester.
This exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for food quality and product specifications allows them to contribute to the growth and success of a reputable organization in the food production industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations, product labelling, and technical specifications.
The Role
As a Specifications Expert, you will be responsible for creating and managing product specifications, ensuring all specifications are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
You will act as the main point of contact for specification queries, liaising with both customers and suppliers to ensure alignment on product requirements.
To stay updated with changing food legislation and industry standards, you will maintain accurate records and ensure all products comply with food safety regulations, labelling requirements, and allergen declarations.
You will also support the New Product Development team by creating specifications for new products and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any issues relating to product specifications and ensure consistency in production.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have retailer experience, preferably at the Big 4.
Salary
$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
