Job Title: Finance and Payroll Officer

Centre for the Moving Image is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a key role that will be responsible for delivering the monthly payroll for our 4 separate entities, as well as a wide range of finance processes, including VAT reporting, cashflow management, and credit control.

The successful candidate will provide key support to the Head of Finance, assisting with financial reporting and the production of management and year-end accounts. Additionally, they will contribute to financial planning, maintenance of systems and records, and improvements in financial processes and associated controls.

This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a hybrid working model, with the possibility of working from home and some days at our offices at Filmhouse, Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly payroll for 4 separate entities
  • Manage finance processes, including VAT reporting, cashflow management, and credit control
  • Support the Head of Finance with financial reporting and account production
  • Contribute to financial planning and system maintenance
  • Improve financial processes and associated controls

Requirements:

  • Strong finance and accounting skills
  • Experience in payroll and financial services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
