We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at MCR Property Group. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of creating enduring value in the property market.

MCR Property Group is a leading independent real estate investment and development company with a strong UK presence. Our primary focus lies in developing new residential and industrial projects and managing a diverse portfolio, which includes around 7,500 residential plots and commercial/industrial assets exceeding £2 billion in value.

We are entering an exhilarating phase of growth and are looking for bright, personable, and self-driven individuals who have a genuine passion for real estate. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading our construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build and lead a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, to execute projects effectively.
  • Oversee the design process from RIBA stage 3 to RIBA stage 6.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process, adhering to industry regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met, and projects are completed on time.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with regulations and building codes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong background in residential high-rise projects.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note that this role is office-based and requires regular attendance at our office in Rochester.
