Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Event Strategies: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and fundraising teams to create event strategies that drive major funded engagement, cultivate opportunities, and maximise income.
  • Manage Event Committees: Nurture relationships with key individuals and positively influence their engagement with and contributions to the charity's special events programme.
  • Deliver Events: Oversee the delivery of the sports & challenges programme, ensuring its development, promotion, and delivering first-class supporter care.
Requirements
  • Event Management Experience: Demonstrate experience in managing successful events and delivering events that generate income.
  • Team Leadership: Showcase ability to manage staff and/or volunteers, with a proven track record of setting and managing budgets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of special events committees and networks.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, they will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous annual leave allowance and opportunities for professional growth and development.
