Young People Supported Living Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Young People Supported Living Manager to lead our team of dedicated support workers. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our supported living services, ensuring compliance with regulations and developing person-centered support plans tailored to the individual needs of each young person.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and supervise a team of support workers, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all services are delivered in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individual support plans that promote independence, life skills, and personal growth.
- Building strong relationships with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes for the young people in our care.
- Monitoring service quality, conducting regular reviews, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Managing budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring value for money while maintaining high standards of care.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who has experience working with young people in a supported living or similar setting. You should have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding care. You must have experience working with Ofsted, as the services are now regulated.
Key requirements include:
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within supported living, or a similar environment.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people transitioning to independent living.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and Ofsted legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to promoting the rights, wellbeing, and independence of young people.
- Relevant qualifications in social care, management, or a related field are desirable.
