About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hyde Lodge, providing a homely supported living and learning environment for young adults with severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Support our young people with all aspects of their daily living, including personal care and promoting independence.
- Plan and deliver learning, development, and social activities, such as arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips, and fun social occasions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or a related field.
- Ability to work a rota pattern, including every other weekend.
- Full UK driving licence (2+ years).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated to learn and go the extra mile.
