About the job

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in Blackpool and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

Your responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes
  • assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • preparing meals and snacks for clients
  • accompanying clients on outings and providing companionship
  • keeping accurate records of client care and medication

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • a caring and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable adults
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic IT skills, including familiarity with electronic care plans
  • confidence in lifting and transferring clients safely

Estimated salary: £32,128 - £41,568 per annum (based on 35 hours per week)
