Job Description

Job Title: Static Strength Analysis Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Location: Onsite in Filton

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Static Strength Analysis Engineer to join our team responsible for the static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing justification reports and other engineering documentation
  • Working with skilled designers to develop optimum repairs
  • Using ISAMI and Mathcad to perform structural static strength analysis of repairs

Requirements:

  • Previous repairs experience
  • Aircraft Structural Engineering background
  • Knowledge of ISAMI and Mathcad
  • Experience using a range of hand and computer methods to complete static analysis
  • The ability to go through a BPSS check
