Static Strength Analysis Engineer Opportunity

Searchability NS&D is seeking a skilled Static Strength Analysis Engineer to join our team

  • Competitive hourly rate of up to £46ph
  • Initial contract until the end of the year
  • Onsite work in a dynamic aerospace environment
  • 35 hour working week
  • BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team responsible for the static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures. This team will collaborate closely with Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing justification reports and other engineering documentation
  • Working with skilled designers to develop optimum repairs
  • Using ISAMI and Mathcad to perform structural static strength analysis of repairs

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in repairsA background in Aircraft Structural EngineeringKnowledge of ISAMI and MathcadExperience using a range of hand and computer methods to complete static analysisThe ability to undergo a BPSS check
