Job Opportunity for Static Strength Analysis Engineer


About the Role

The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the static strength analysis of metallic and composite structures. This team works closely with the Design and F&DT engineers to assess and validate repairs to damaged aircraft structures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Completing justification reports and other engineering documentation
  • Working with skilled designers to develop optimum repairs
  • Using ISAMI and Mathcad to perform structural static strength analysis of repairs


Requirements

  • Previous repairs experience
  • Aircraft Structural Engineering background
  • Knowledge of ISAMI and Mathcad
  • Experience using a range of hand and computer methods to complete static analysis
  • The ability to go through a BPSS check
