Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team in Bury, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions while mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance software applications that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Lead technical decision-making processes and conduct code reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers in best practices, helping them to grow and develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, ensuring that our software solutions meet the needs of our customers.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code that is easy to understand and maintain.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise, using your expertise to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies into our software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript, with experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
  • Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus, as is strong leadership and communication skills.
