**Job Summary**

Barclay Simpson is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity function, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end cycle of our Security Operations Center (SOC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SOC team to ensure the safeguarding of our cyber security posture.
  • Assist with incident escalation, including insider threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-centric security solutions.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and implement appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a SOC environment, with a focus on incident escalation.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in cloud security and Azure.
  • Experience with Splunk and DLP is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • A competitive salary of £65,000, with an opt-in on-call bonus of £6-7,000 per year.
