Cybersecurity Lead Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Lead to join our team at CDP. With the expansion of our digital disclosure platform and technological capabilities, ensuring robust security infrastructure and practices is crucial to our future.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our in-house Cybersecurity team, developing and delivering a global security roadmap, and partnering with senior stakeholders to contribute to the wider IT strategic planning.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and oversee the organization's overall cyber security strategy and positioning.
  • Lead, develop, and enable the Cyber Security team.
  • Key Tasks:
  • Deliver security projects and initiatives through strategic guidance and hands-on implementation.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to embed security best practices.
  • Implement and manage Azure and M365 security resources.
  • Design and build cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on cyber security optimization.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and standards.
  • Maintain robust role-based access control and monitor and guide the IT Operations team to cultivate a sense of security awareness.
  • Manage the end-to-end penetration testing and remediation activities across CDP.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates competence and enthusiasm leading and managing a cybersecurity team, with strong technical expertise.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English to articulate complicated security requirements.
  • Previous experience developing cybersecurity roadmaps and strategies, with consideration of leveraging cloud as a delivery platform.
  • Extensive exposure and working experience applying cyber security practices to cloud technologies, with Azure advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Security standards, including Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and ISO27001.
  • Deep understanding of IT Service Management principles (ITIL).
