Job Title: Site Supervisor

Blue Bear Talent is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and organized Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and organize labor on site, including recording labor and hours worked
  • Oversee and organize subcontractors on site, including recording labor and hours worked
  • Respond to site issues and communicate with the Contracts Manager and Division Manager
  • Provide regular site progress updates and report any changes to the works carried out
  • Oversee delivery of materials, check volume of materials on site, and ensure materials are applied at correct consumption rates
  • Liaise with clients and report progress, issues, and feedback
  • Liaise directly with the working foreman and site manager to understand scope and works program
  • Ensure contract program is followed and updated
  • Keep up-to-date records of work activities and conditions, including all readings for application of materials
  • Check and prepare site reports and drawings
  • Ensure work is programmed to achieve targets
  • Problem solve and carry out safety inspections
  • Maintain quality control procedures
  • Carry out daily briefings, Toolbox Talks, Site Specific Training, and record communication or any tasks asked of him by the contracts team
  • Carry out site surveys to show extent of defects
  • Provide accurate percentage complete on site for the Contracts/Division Manager
  • Build relationships with clients and all involved with the project
  • Change in method of works to be forwarded and discussed
  • Attend meetings with contractors/clients
Requirements:
  • SMSTS
  • Driving license
  • Waterproofing/concrete repair experience essential
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Computer literate
