Head of Commercial Job Description

Ricoh is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our EMEA IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) based in London, with occasional travel to our Watford office.

Job Summary

The Head of IT PMO will hold both leadership and management roles in the EMEA IT function, responsible for various methods and practices working on the priorities of the business to deliver value and provision capabilities. This dual function will integrate delivery of the organization's portfolio of projects, products, and structured work efforts, ensuring all are manageable, consistent, and aligned towards progressive achievement of overarching goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate among PMO stakeholders and organisational leadership a consensus around the mission and vision of the PMO organisation to foster an agile oriented mindset while building product and project-oriented capabilities aligned to value delivery.
  • Engage senior leadership and business partners to define the PMO goals and operating model in the form of the PMO charter or mission statement.
  • Lead the identification and development of PMO roles, team configuration, and recruitment appropriate to deliver the agreed-upon PMO goals and objectives.
  • Develop and guide the agile practice, putting in place the systems, processes and ways of working to sustain high performing teams.
  • Define, manage and direct the needed end-to-end PMO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits.
Requirements
  • Experience in combined (waterfall and agile) environments.
  • Experience with one or more agile or lean methodologies (Lean, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Program management skills and experience, plus significant knowledge of productivity tools with evidence of practical application.
  • A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills.
