Job Title: Quantitative Analyst for Cash Equities

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our Cash Equities organization. This front-office role sits within the Central Risk team, which plays a crucial part in optimizing execution and risk across Citi's Equities franchise. You will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, and maintenance of systematic trading components, including our Systematic Internalizer (SI), portfolio optimizer/hedger, as well as analytics, estimators, and signals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and design systematic trading components
- Implement and maintain production quality code
- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and technology partners
- Build analytics and reporting capabilities

Requirements:
- Expertise in statistical methods and inference
- Advanced coding skills in one or more languages
- Strong experience in data processing and analytics libraries
- Familiarity with best practices in software engineering
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in KDB+/q
- Knowledge of the equity market microstructure
- Understanding of modern portfolio theory and quantitative risk management techniques
