About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our client's growing team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating between teams, and producing progress reports. You will also adjust programmes for delays and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and estimators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of work, including pre-contract and post-contract stages.
  • Producing progress reports and revising programmes and forecasts for team members using planning software.
  • Breaking down large projects into phases of development.
  • Using project management tools to plan timeframes.
  • Working with Estimators to calculate resources needed for a project.
  • Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change.
  • Meeting with contractors and suppliers to discuss and review programme issues.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of construction, particularly with roofing and façade works.
  • Working between office-based staff and site-based staff to ensure consistency on programmes and sequence.
  • Producing procurement/design programmes in line with agreed construction programmes.
  • Critical reviews of programmes for Extension of Time Requests, identifying delays, hold-ups, and additional works.
  • Basic understanding of requirements for Extension of Times/Compensation Events.
Requirements
  • Able to use a computer and main software packages competently.
  • Approximately 5 years of planning experience.
  • Knowledge of building construction and sequence.
  • UK driving licence.
