Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is offering a career opportunity for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to work in our Urgent and Emergency Department.

This is a 5-hour/week fixed-term (18 months) role that offers comprehensive training and opportunities for development.

Job Description:

  1. Carry out medicines administration to selected patients in accordance with prescription requirements
  2. Undertake competency based training in the preparation and administration of medicines
  3. Be competent in the administration of prescribed medicines to allocated inpatients against an inpatient prescription following the Trust's Medicines Management policy

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified pharmacy technician
  • Level 3 NVQ pharmacy or equivalent
