About the Role:

This position involves working with children who are care experienced, either in foster placement, residential or placed at home with parents under a Care Order.

Key responsibilities include undertaking assessments and care planning, providing support to families and carers, and supervising students and supporting other staff with students on placement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex and high-risk cases, excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification.
  • Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England.
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS.
  • Driving license with access to a car.

Salary Details:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £38.43 per hour, which is based on your location in Bridgend and your level of experience.
