Educational Assistant with SEND Experience

Job Summary:
Remedy Education is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work at a successful school in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a dedicated and supportive team.
The role will involve working closely with a year 8 child who has various SEND/SEMH needs, and supporting them in their educational and personal development. You will work alongside a range of professionals, including teachers, therapists, and other support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individual learning plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. GCSEs in Maths or English).
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
Salary: £100 - £115 per day
