About the Role

nhow London Limited is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join its team. As a multi-tasking technician, you will support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake standard electrical, plumbing, and decorative repairs to a high standard.
  • Liaise with and monitor Contract staff in the performance of their duties.
  • Ensure the security of guests, personnel, and company property throughout the hotel.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all emergency maintenance procedures.
  • Respond to all maintenance requests in the order of priority set out by the Maintenance Manager or by your own initiative in their absence.
  • Work shifts on a rota basis covering other technicians where necessary.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring correct compliance with all related company/ statutory policies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Assistant (multi-tasking technician).
  • Preferably with trade qualifications from City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of all major trades, including plumbing, painting/decorating, and electrical.
  • A good understanding of the English Language.
  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task in a driven manner.
  • A true team player.
