Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Water Industry

A leading MEICA contractor delivering projects within the water industry is seeking multiple Senior Electrical Design Engineers to work on their Severn Trent framework.

About the Role
  • Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for electrical works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success.
  • Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client, leveraging expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Attend design review meetings to monitor progress, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a strong foundation in electrical design principles and practices.
  • Experience working within water or similar process-driven environments, with a proven track record of delivering electrical design solutions.
  • Contractual and commercial knowledge, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex contracts and agreements.
  • Eligible to work in the UK, with a valid work permit or visa.
