Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and driven Inside Sales Representative to engage with customers, our partner network, and colleagues, understanding their needs, and identifying new sales opportunities. This role involves working closely with our sales team to investigate project databases, qualify leads, and develop a robust sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline by working with project databases and other resources.
- Handle inbound calls, internet leads, and inquiries, converting them into sales through competitive quotations.
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with partners, distributors, resellers, and direct customers, following up on quotations, sales requests, and invoices.
- Enter and update quotation and project data in our ERP Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics CRM systems.
- Collaborate with customers to answer inquiries and solve problems by providing innovative solutions.
- Provide administrative support to our outside sales team.
- Assist in promotions, exhibitions, and events to enhance Thermon's market presence.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and commercial skills.
- A structured and well-organized approach to tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication, along with negotiation skills.
- Sales-driven with a strong desire to win and succeed.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- A good understanding of technical matters, with a demonstrated understanding of product complexities and costs.
- Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and ERP systems.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and capable of working on your own initiative.
- Experience in business-to-business sales within technical markets and industries is a plus.
- A background in electrical, mechanical, or process engineering would be an asset.
