Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal UX Designer to join our Monopoly GO team. As a key member of our Growth, Social & Identity (GSI) team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering major new social experiences for players and features that drive engagement and grow the game.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on social experiences in other games and digital platforms to identify trends, standard processes, and opportunities for innovation in our social features.
  • Develop UX design concepts and pitches that give direction to new features.
  • Deliver complete designs, producing wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and other results needed to communicate the player experience to stakeholders and to the development team.
  • Present designs to peers and partners for feedback, leading the iterative process and working towards consensus on design solutions.
  • Participate in player research and testing, giving to test objectives, scripts, and the creation of research assets.
  • Support product-wide UX design consistency by using existing paradigms and crafting new ones to address emerging needs within the social experience of the game.
  • Develop design principles and standardized solutions to address common problems within social, as well as developing improvements for current design methods.
  • Support other feature teams implementing social features into their own initiatives; collaborating with other UX Designers to devise solutions that align with a complete vision for social.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of previous game UX design experience.
  • Proven record of crafting impactful features on games.
  • A well-rounded creative abilities that can bring novel solutions to fruition.
  • A practical understanding of social systems in games, apps, and other digital communities.
  • Advanced knowledge of UX design tools, processes, and methods including, design principles and other frameworks.
  • Proven understanding of User Research methodologies.
  • A phenomenal teammate player who emphasizes collaboration and encourages feedback.
