We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Manager to join our dynamic team at STEM Women. As an Event Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality events year-round in Europe and Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Events to plan and execute events, ensuring seamless logistics and attendee experience.
- Visit new locations to scope out potential venues, assessing suitability based on location, transportation, size, and cost.
- Manage event planning tasks, including venue logistics, floorplans, catering, people flow, and attendee experience.
- Travel to event cities to manage a small team on event days, resolving any issues that arise.
- Collect feedback and data, presenting reports and findings to the company to improve future events.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Event Sourcing, to meet company targets and stay within budgets.
Requirements:
- Must live within commuting distance of Liverpool city centre.
- University degree (any subject).
- Commercial experience in events management, ideally in hospitality or recruitment events.
- Excellent communication and project-management skills, with attention to detail and innovative thinking.
- Ability and desire to travel year-round for events.
