Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Thomas Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in Larkhill, Wiltshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial aspects of our projects from pre-construction to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on commercial aspects of projects, including cost planning, estimating, and contract administration.
  • Support the Commercial Team in maintaining robust cost and revenue forecasts.
  • Visit sites to conduct surveys, assess progress, and validate supply chain invoices.
  • Liaise with the Procurement Team to analyze tender submissions and prepare joint recommendations.
  • Produce cost plans, estimates, and client submissions for projects.
  • Administer project variations, instructions, and contingency budgets.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the Commercial Team.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in PFI and/or public sector service FM contracts.
  • Degree-level education in Quantity Surveying and membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license.
